KBS Woodcoat white is a white pigmented, halogen free fire protective coating for wood which forms an insulating intumescent layer under the influence of fire and heat. KBS Woodcoat white is a fibre free paint containing intumescent substances, pigments, additives and auxiliaries.
KBS Woodcoat white reduces the flammability and flame spread of wood, chip board and veneering plywood with a thickness of > 12 mm.
KBS Woodcoat white can be used in dry indoor rooms on wood which is not exposed to mechanical stress. It is not necessary to use a topcoat. The surfaces protected with KBS Woodcoat white can be coated additionally with a usual one component topcoat.
KBS Woodcoat transparent is a water-based, transparent and halogen free fire protective coating for wood, which forms an insulating layer under the influence of fire and heat. KBS Woodcoat transparent is a fibre free paint containing intumescent substances, additives and auxiliaries.
KBS Woodcoat transparent reduces the flammability and flame spread of wood, chip board and veneering plywood with a thickness > 12 mm. KBS Woodcoat transparent can be used in dry indoor rooms on wood which is not exposed to mechanical stress.
KBS Woodcoat transparent needs as a finish KBS Wood Topcoat or KBS Wood Topcoat CLF.
